My lender, insurance company, government agency, etc. indicates that I need to be at a certain enrollment status. What is 'enrollment status'?

For undergraduate students, full-time enrollment status is defined as 12 or more credits in a regular fall or spring semester (6 or more in a summer term), and half-time status is 6 credits in a regular fall or spring semester (3 credit hours in a summer term). For graduate students, full-time status is defined as 9 or more credits in a regular fall or spring semester (4 or more credits in a summer term), and half-time status is 4 credits in a regular fall or spring semester (2 credits in a summer term). Credit hours related to audit enrollment and correspondence education courses are not counted for certification purposes.

I have documents/requests from my lender that require the Registrar's signature. What do I do?

Bring your document(s) to the Office of the Registrar, 322 Student Union. Your documents will be forwarded to the National Student Clearinghouse for processing and further response to your lender(s). You may contact the clearinghouse by going to their website or by calling (703) 742-7791, if you have questions regarding information provided to lenders.

My lender is contacting me saying that they have not received documentation from the clearinghouse and now I am in default on my student loans.

If the Clearinghouse does not have the student's updated enrollment information then the student must come to the Office of the Registrar to obtain an enrollment verification letter.
